Discover the project

What?

Our project is about innovation, cities and ecosystem suited to innovation. We based our analysis from the Rainforest Theory proposed by V. W Hwang and G. Horowitz.

We define our problematic through the questions:

  • What is an innovation-friendly city?

  • Which metrics would be the best to compare innovative cities?

How?
  1. We gather information through a literature review about innovation theories.

  2. We conduct interviews of innovation stakeholders (Entrepreneurs, Researchers, Innovators, Venture capitalist, Network) in France.

  3. We travel to California to have a better understanding of their innovation environment and to meet innovation stakeholders from there.

  4. We compare French cities and California ones in order to bring back what makes Californian cities so innovative friendly
