From the 12th to the 22nd of June, Paris is hosting the event “Futur en Seine”, a world digital festival. Last week, an innovation village presented the latest French and International digital innovations. Here is a little sum up of what we have seen and what we liked during our visit.

We first started at “La Gaité Lyrique”, we particularly enjoy the children part where we discovered our two favorite projects:

  • Clémentine’s one was "Lunii": an imaginary radio which offers kids to create and generate stories. And we were happy to learn that Lunii won the exhibition’s public award.

  • Charles’ one was “Yo-Ho’s world”, a new type of game: Mixing digital and real world! In this board game, you use your own smartphone to play.

We then discovered a surprising Facebook app named “Algopol” which allows you to see your social network like you have never imagined. All the data anonymously collected will be used by IT and social researchers to analyze social behaviors on digital networks. It’s fun and you help the research! Try it on http://app.algopol.fr/

There was also a lot of 3D-printers, the famous Oculus Rift, connected objects (like a plug from Orange to which you can send SMS), the world smallest USB key, a t-shirt that scan your vitals (the D-Shirt of Cityzen Science) and so on. But how could we miss the “T-glasses”, the first binoculars augmented reality glasses. So we tried it, played Space Invaders like Jedi… and it’s finally not so easy to use!

Last but not least, to BE the music discover "Phonotonic", an object to create music by just moving and dancing! Go discover it!

That’s all for today, don’t hesitate to react on this article on the forum,

Clémentine & Charles
